Phillip began his physiotherapy career in musculoskeletal private practice and within a sports club before moving into paediatrics. While studying, he worked as his school’s sports coach and tutored children in mathematics, experiences that sparked his love of helping kids build skills and confidence and ultimately drew him to paediatric practice. Since then, he has delivered intensive therapy blocks and hydrotherapy across school, clinic, home and community settings (yes, even parks). Phillip now serves as Clinical Lead, supporting teams to deliver consistent, high quality care.

In previous roles, Phillip introduced a virtual reality therapy platform, finding it invaluable for bridging the gap between traditional therapy and today’s technology loving generation, boosting engagement, gamifying practice, and providing measurable progress.

Phillip has worked with a wide range of presentations including (but not limited to) Cerebral Palsy, Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD, developmental delay, toe walking, low tone and hypermobility, and balance/coordination difficulties.

His skills and passions lie in hydrotherapy and evidence-based, family centred intervention. Phillip believes great outcomes start with great rapport: he turns therapy into play, sets practical goals with families, and collaborates closely with educators and other clinicians to keep progress meaningful and measurable.

In his spare time, Phillip enjoys going to the gym, playing sport and cooking and he brings that same energy and encouragement to every session.
