Kate completed her Bachelor of Speech Pathology at Flinders University in 2019 and began her career in a not for profit organisation supporting children with neurodevelopmental conditions. Since then, she has gained experience across many areas of practice including speech, language, fluency, and literacy, with a particular interest in early intervention and sensory mealtimes.
In addition to her clinical work, Kate has enjoyed mentoring the next generation of speech pathologists by providing supervision and support to university students on placement. She is passionate about family centred, client led practice and embraces a strengths based, neuro affirming approach. Her focus is on delivering therapy that is meaningful, inclusive, and empowering, helping individuals build self awareness, self advocacy, and confidence to participate in their communities.
Outside of work, Kate loves spending time with her family, trying new recipes in the kitchen, and unwinding with a good book.
