Ellie Smith graduated with a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) in Scotland in 2019. Since then, she has worked across public and private settings and has spent the last three years supporting children and families within the NDIS.
Ellie uses a play‑based, neuro‑affirming and individualised approach to support children to develop the skills they need for everyday life. Her work commonly focuses on sensory processing, emotional regulation, self‑care, fine/gross motor skill development and participation in daily routines. She is passionate about creating therapy sessions that are engaging, supportive, and meaningful, helping children feel confident and motivated as they work towards their goals.
Ellie values collaboration and enjoys working closely with families, educators, and other professionals to provide practical, strengths‑based support that fits naturally into each child’s life.
Outside of work, Ellie enjoys puzzling, hunting down good coffee, and staying active with parkrun, tennis and swimming.
