Services and Support

Assessment:
The needs of each child are comprehensively assessed to establish a holistic understanding of their unique strengths, interests, and challenges. Assessments are tailored to each child’s individual needs and may include parent interview, functional observation, and standardised assessment. Following the assessment, we will work with you to establish meaningful goals for therapy and discuss with you the next steps.

Therapy:
Our therapy sessions are creatively designed to be fun, engaging, positive and focused on the priorities of your child and the family. Therapy services may be delivered in the clinic, home or school environment or via telehealth.

Therapeutic intervention is individualised and can support skill development across areas including:

  • Sensory Processing and Integration

  • Regulation (sensory, emotional and cognitive)

  • Self-care and daily living skills (self-care, toileting, sleep)

  • Motor Skill Development (gross and fine motor skills)

  • Handwriting

  • Social Skills

  • School Readiness

  • Confidence and Self-esteem

Support:
Providing holistic care for the child as well as the whole family is fundamental in creating an environment in which the child can thrive to their full potential. This may include providing education, parent coaching, practical information, tools and strategies, and school consultation as a part of the intervention program to support all involved caregivers to navigate the challenges experienced at home, school or within the community.

Collaboration:
We understand the importance of working collaboratively with other health professionals, carers and educators to support your child’s growth and development across all environments.
