Before qualifying as a Speech Pathologist, Stephen spent two years working as an Aboriginal Community Education Officer at Woodcroft Primary School. He then worked for the Department for Education in a fly-in-fly-out position across the Port Augusta/Whyalla region, where he developed a genuine passion for speech and language. Beyond this core area, Stephen has a keen interest in swallowing and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) strategies. Outside of work, Stephen is an avid drummer and plays in a band called the Stubbies, who gig regularly and have music on Spotify and Apple Music. He also enjoys bike riding and playing football.
